LIV 2:2 WOL: Two Worst VAR Calls That Favoured Liverpool Against Wolves

Liverpool were active in the FA Cup yesterday when they hosted Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Anfield Stadium in what was an entertaining game of football to watch. The Reds blew their lead in the game as they were held to an intense 2-2 draw by Wolves courtesy of goals from Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah, Goncalo Guedes, and Hee-Tan Wang. Since neither side could win the match today, there will be a replay fixture at the Molineux Stadium to determine who advances to the next stage of the competition.

Well, I believe Wolverhampton Wanderers could have won this game easily if not for the bad decisions made by VAR in favour of Liverpool. At first, Mohamed Salah's goal in the game shouldn't in anyway have stood as he was obviously in an offside position when the ball was laid into his path. Surprisingly this goal for Liverpool stood in the game making it another blunder from VAR.

Secondly, Wolverhampton Wanderers' winning goal from Toti Gomes should have stood in the game. According to the picture below, it is clear Toti Gomes was clearly onside when he scored netted the goal for Wolves in the game. VAR once again committed another blunder by chalking off the goal which could have seen Liverpool crash out of the FA Cup yesterday.
