Liverpool XI vs Leicester: Gakpo debut latest, predicted lineup, confirmed team news, injuries for game today

Cody Gakpo will not be available for his Liverpool debut against Leicester today.

The new £45million signing has been unveiled as a Reds player and is likely to greet the fans at Anfield, but he does not become an official Liverpool player until the transfer window opens on January 1.

Elsewhere, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Ibrahima Konate is available for Liverpool.

The Frenchman was on the bench for the World Cup final and missed the games against Manchester City and Aston Villa as a result.

It is, however, doubtful the defender will start at Anfield given the tight turnaround.

There are no fresh injury concerns for Klopp, although the likes of James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Curtis Jones, Arthur Melo, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota remain out.

Predicted Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Thiago, Elliott; Salah, Nunez, Carvalho.

Injured: Milner, Jones, Jota, Arthur, Diaz, Firmino

Date and time: 8pm GMT, December 30

Venue: Anfield

TV channel and live stream: Sky Sports

Referee: Craig Pawson, Paul Tierney (VAR)
