Liverpool told to sign next Wilfried Zaha in January as Jurgen Klopp 'likes' World Cup ace

Liverpool have been urged to make a very exciting addition to Jurgen Klopp's squad in January.

Liverpool have already made informal contact with Kudus according to The Athletic, and he is keen on a move to the Premier League after two goals for his country in Qatar alongside four goals in five starts in the Champions League. The 22-year-old can play in the forward line or midfield, which would appeal to Klopp according to former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

“Kudus is a top-class player,” Robinson told Football Insider. “He is raw and he has a lot of talent. If you listen to him and read some of his quotes, he thinks he’s better than Neymar. To be fair to him, he went some way to backing up those quotes with the way that he played.

“I have been impressed with him at Ajax. He is direct, can score and is versatile. He can play anywhere across the front line. Jurgen Klopp likes players like that. He also has Champions League experience.

think he would be an excellent addition to any side. Liverpool have a lot of quality in that area but Kudus would give them something else. Do you know who I’d compare him [to]? Zaha at Palace, he is not too dissimilar.”

The Sun claim that Ajax will ask for around £40million to part ways with Kudus, which would represent a lower fee than some of the other Liverpool targets as Jude Bellingham and Enzo Fernandez have also been linked with a move to Anfield. The England man is set to cost over £100m this summer, while Fernandez has a release clause at Benfica of £104m.
