Follow all the action as England take on Senegal for a place in the Qatar 2022 World Cup quarter-finals. Henderson, Kane and Saka score for England.

England vs Senegal: Qatar 2022 World Cup round of 16

79

Almost another for Kane! Rashford is set away down the right wing and crosses low for Kane but the ball is just too far ahead of him and he can't quite reach it!

Jude Bellingham: the ultimate all-rounder

Is there anything this man can't do?

Come on Jude, give the rest of them a chance!

76

Jude Bellingham replaced

What a performance from Bellingham, especially in the first half! Mount replaces him, while Eric Dier comes on for John Stones.

75

Koulibaly has had enough of Kane and charges through the back of him in midfield. Needless and not especially dangerous, but he gets a yellow.

73

That might be the first Senegal effort on goal in the second half! Pape Sarr lines up a free-kick from range and curls into the side netting. Pickford had it covered.

72

Senegal sub

Diédhiou replaces Dia in the Senegalese attack.

69

Henderson is still on, by the way. He's shaken off the knock he picked up a few minutes ago.

Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford leading the way

Three goals for Saka and for Rashford...so far.

Cargando...

The Senegalese band sounds as if it's got a little quieter but they're still going, full credit to them!

65

Saka and Foden off

Marcus Rashford does finally make an appearance and Jack Grealish is the other man coming on.

62

Henderson looks as if he's taken a sore one there from Gueye. England changes imminent.

Bukayo Saka proving his worth for England

There was plenty of criticism online for Gareth Southgate for not picking Marcus Rashford but Bukayo Saka has once again shown why he's starting in this England team.

56

GOOOOOOOOOOAL ENGLAND! BUKAYO SAKA!

Surely England can start thinking about France now??

Lovely play down the left from Foden, a nutmeg cross and a delightful first-time flick from Saka, who scores for the third time in the tournament.

Senegal have Everestto climb.

55

KANE FROM DOWNTOWN!

Harry Kane just wants to make sure Edouard Mendy is paying attention. The England striker surprises everywhere by shooting from 35 yards and almost deceives Mendy, who does just enough to save.

Jordan Henderson: goal machine

This is a bit of a mad stat, isn't it?

Cargando...

53

Wide from Saka!

Excellent anticipation from Rice, who wins the ball, passes to Kane and continues his run. The Spurs striker ignores him though and picks out Saka, who slices it wide.

52

Foden trying to feed Kane through for a third goal but they get their wires crossed and the ball runs through for a goal kick.

49

We could do with an early goal from Senegal to make this interesting and there were promising signs there! Sabaly gets in behind Shaw and his cross is cleared out to sub Sarr, who drags his shot wide.

47

Midfield runners have been massive for England so far and Henderson does it again here, although his chipped cross is easily headed away by the Senegalese defence.

Away we goooooo! Is there any hope here for Senegal?

Triple change for Senegal

Pape Matar Sarr, Dieng and Gueye are on. Diatta, Ndiaye and Ciss are hooked.

Big moves from Aliou Cissé!

England spreading the goals around

"Good teams have goals everywhere in the team," said every pundit ever.

We know goalkeeper Jordan Pickford loves a penalty, too.

Cargando...

It's taken him a bit of time to get going in front of goal in this World Cup but Harry Kane has got his goal.

It was never in any doubt really, was it?

Cargando...

Jude Bellingham makes the difference for England

Jude Bellingham has been immense so far. The stats back it up. Whoever gets him after Borussia Dortmund (Real Madrid? Liverpool?) is going to have some player on their hands.

And he's still only 19...

ENGLAND 2-0 SENEGAL: Southgate's boys with a foot in the quarter-finals!

Half-time and England look set for a collision course with France!

Soccer is a funny old game, isn't it? After a bright start from England, Senegal had weathered the storm, played their way into the game and created the best two chances of the first 35 minutes.

Aliou Cissé's men were in the ascendency until Jude Bellingham took matters into his own hands. The Dortmund man's runs from midfield led to goals for Jordan Henderson and Harry Kane as England ruthlessly punished their opponents.

Henderson's goal completely transformed Gareth Southgate's team, who had looked flat and short of ideas but finished the half full of energy and threatening in attack.

45+2

GOOOOOOOOOOAL ENGLAND! HARRY KANE

That could be a HUGE goal in this game!

The best time to score, the worst time to concede.

Ciss lost possession as Senegal looked to attack and England pounced. Bellingham is the key man again, breaking past the Senegal midfield and playing in Kane, who finishes emphatically!

Is there much hope for Senegal? That's a killer!

Two minutes of added time. Two minutes is the new 'finishing before the 45th minute.'

44

Declan Rice is next to break forward from midfield but his cross from the right-wing is cut out by Koulibaly.

Amazing how a goal can change everything.

42

England are in again!

Shaw pounces on a loose ball, plays and one-two with Bellingham and sprints into the box. He takes one touch too many though and his cross is blocked out for a corner, which is cleared.

40

Another chance for England!

Pickford's long goal kick ends up with Saka, who beats his man out wide and crosses for Kane, who fires it over. You would've fancied him to do better from there.

Senegal will feel hard done by, they were the ones on top.

GOOOOOOOOAL FOR ENGLAND!

Henderson! Against the run of play!

That did not look like it was coming at all. The ball is played into Kane and both Bellingham and Henderson make forward runs off him, which it what creates the goal. Kane plays Bellingham through and the Dortmund squares to Henderson, who has the simple task of slotting it into the net.

35

Sarr is looking dangerous down this left-hand side! He beats Kyle Walker and starts to race towards the England box but his hauled back by the defender. Walker is lucky that wasn't a yellow card.

Earlier miss from Sarr

This is that earlier miss from Sarr. He was under pressure from Pickford but he'll have been disappointed not to have scored.

After that bright start from England, Senegal have had the two best chances of this game. By far!

31

HUGE SAVE FROM PICKFORD!

Saka loses the ball in his own half and Sarr drives into the box and cleverly picks out Dia, whose firm strike is brilliantly kept out by Pickford.

29

Some possession for Senegal now but they're also struggling to find a way through. A bit of a stalemate at the moment.

26

England are moving the ball around VERY slowly at the moment. Remember I said they'd started brightly? Well, that's over now.

25

Senegal started off pressing high up the pitch and they're still doing that from time to time but they're also keeping a good defensive shape when they don't have the ball.

22

A HUGE LET-OFF FOR ENGLAND!

Dia and Stones challenge for a cross at the near post and it falls to Sarr, who lifts the ball over from close range! He should've done better there!

20

Well, it was a chance! John Stones got on the end of it at the near post but it comes off his shoulder and flies well wide of the target.

20

Corner for England! What can they make of this?

18

A bit of a lull in play as England knock the ball around. Both teams having a little breather after an intense start.

Sounds of Senegal

The Senegal fans have managed to sneak their instruments in and are making a lot of noise so far!

15

A very bright start from England so far. No clear chances yet, though.

14

Pickford had to be quick there! The ball was played back to him and Sarr raced in to close him down, he almost got a block in!

12

Could Saka have done better there??

Kane is free down the left and whips a dangerous ball across goal between Mendy and Saka, who could've been braver there, if you ask me...

11

It's been an all-action display in the opening 11 minutes from Jude Bellingham. He's been everywhere!

9

The first casualty of the game is the ball, which has burst.New ball please.

8

Flappy hands there from Mendy as Bellingham breaks down the left and crosses, the Senegal goalkeeper got a touch on it but couldn't collect. Thankfully for him, Saka was too far away to capitalise.

7

Abdou Diallo, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

The Senegal centre-back takes a huge risk inside his own box and almost allows Saka to nick if off him.

6

VERY physical in the opening stages! Bellingham wins a foul in the Senegal half and a well-worked free-kick is headed across goal by Maguire before being scrambled away. Cleverly done, that.

5

Ciss chops Bellingham down in midfield in a classic 'let-him-know-your´re-there-early-on' tackle. Senegal not giving England time on the ball.

3

Nearly an early opening for Senegal!

Dia runs betw

een Maguire and Stones and looks as if he's going to get a shot away but takes an extra touch and loses control at the vital moment!

2

Good closing down from Henderson to win the ball off Mendy in the Senegal half. That's what he's in the team for.
