Sky Sports' Joe Shread at Stamford Bridge::
"It's as if the James injury sucked most of the air out of Chelsea, as their performance has tailed off markedly since his exit.
"Bournemouth have rarely tested Kepa but don't rule them out of this, given their hosts' vulnerability before the World Cup break."
Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth
61: There's a break in play as Cucurella walks over to the touchline with one boot on. His left boot is in his hand with a huge rip in it!
The left-back comes back on wearing a replacement which is a different colour. His right boot is orange, the other, silver.

Chelsea 2-0 Bournemouth
59: Not the most convincing start at right-back from Azpilicueta as Anthony and Zemura combine to play round him. It then looks like Mount is fouled on the edge of the Chelsea box but nothing is given and Anthony's shot is straight at Kepa.

56: Koulibaly, *checks teamsheet*, yes, Koulibaly goes dribbling down the byline with some neat footwork and is brought down.
A collectors' item from the centre-back. The resulting free-kick comes to nothing.

"Chelsea went into the mid-season break in terrible form, with three defeats in a row in which they failed to score a goal, let alone earn a point.
"Consequently, the Blues find themselves nine points behind fourth-placed Tottenham in the Premier League. However, Chelsea do have two games in hand on their London rivals and they must make the most of that advantage, starting with getting their season back on track with three points at home to Bournemouth this evening.
"Graham Potter's side then have a very winnable game at Nottingham Forest on January 1 - live on Sky Sports. The chance to kickstart their season with six points from their first two matches after the World Cup is within Chelsea's grasp - they must make the most of it.

Potter: Impressed by Ziyech | Reece James fit, Kante out until March
Chelsea manager Graham Potter admitted he was impressed with Hakim Ziyech's performances at the World Cup for Morocco and confirms Reece James is fit but that N'golo Kante will not return until March.
"It's no secret that Todd Boehly is targeting the best young players in world football as they embark on building a squad that can compete for many years.
"It's a policy that is consistent with giving Graham Potter a long-term contract and it's an approach that will become normal practice at Stamford Bridge in the coming years.
"It's already been evident with the pre-contract summer agreement for France international Christopher Nkunku but this January they are on the lookout for a midfielder and a striker.
"The injury to Armando Broja has left them light in forward positions and they are the lowest scorers in the top half with only 17. In midfield, N'Golo Kante has been regularly absent.
"Like Nkunku, Declan Rice is likely to be available for the right price in the summer, but Chelsea won't want to give up their bid to qualify for the Champions League without a fight. I expect them to attempt to make signings this January."
James starts - relief for FPL managers!

Captain Kelly returns for Bournemouth
Bournemouth have been boosted by the return of captain Lloyd Kelly.
The centre-back has not featured for the Cherries since injurying his ankle in training in September.
Meanwhile, Kieffer Moore and Dominic Solanke start up front in a bold move from boss Gary O'Neil.
James back, Kepa and Zakaria start, no place for Kovacic or Ziyech
Sky Sports' Joe Shread:
Chelsea’s last fixture may have been way back on November 12, but the fact they have made eight changes from that 1-0 defeat at Newcastle is notable.
It looks as though Graham Potter has moved to a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, having deployed a 3-4-3 for much of his time in charge since arriving from Brighton in September.
The big news for Chelsea is that Reece James starts for the first time since suffering a knee injury against AC Milan on October 11, while Kepa Arrizabalaga also returns in goal, with Edouard Mendy not in the squad.
Denis Zakaria is handed his first minutes in the Premier League alongside Jorginho and Mason Mount in midfield, while Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz look as though they will form a front three.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Lewis Hall are on the bench, while Mateo Kovacic and Hakim Ziyech – who reached the semi-finals of the World Cup with Croatia and Morocco respectively – are not in the 18-man squad.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also absent, but there is a place on the bench for exciting youngster Omari Hutchinson, who signed from Arsenal in the summer
Foley: We plan to spend in January without a budget!
Christmas will continue for Bournemouth fans this January!
Bournemouth's £100m takeover | Michael B. Jordan minority owner
Bournemouth confirmed the completion of their takeover by Bill Foley and his partnership Black Knight FC this month.
Sky Sports News understands the deal is worth in excess of £100m.
After months of negotiations, Foley replaces Maxim Demin to become the latest American to invest in English football after the deal was finally approved by the Premier League following a stringent owners and directors test.
Black Knight Football Club, of which Foley is the managing general partner, has purchased a 100 per cent stake in the club from previous owner Demin.
Chelsea have a lengthy injury list, with midfielder N'Golo Kante (hamstring) not expected to return until late February at the earliest, while Ben Chilwell, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Wesley Fofana still need more time to recover from their respective injuries.
Meanwhile, striker Armando Broja has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury and undergoing surgery.
Manager Graham Potter is also resting World Cup third place play-off opponents Mateo Kovacic (Croatia) and Hakim Ziyech (Morocco) after their deep runs in the Qatar tournament, while right-back Reece James continues his recovery from injury.
Bournemouth will be hopeful of welcoming back midfield duo Jefferson Lerma and Marcus Tavernier for their trip to London, while captain Lloyd Kelly has also returned to training.
Both Lerma and Tavernier missed out on the Cherries’ midweek Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle with injury but may come back into contention.
