Hello and welcome to today's Arsenal live blog on Tuesday, December 20.

The return of Premier League football is only six days away, with Mikel Arteta's side preparing to take on West Ham on Boxing Day. The Gunners have been dealt a significant boost regarding the availability of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli earlier this week.

Transfer negotiations are all systems go as Arsenal look to strengthen their line-up heading into what looks to be a title race with Manchester City thus far. Sitting five points top of the table could force Edu's hand into bringing in further bodies to give the Gunners the best chance at silverware this season.

Mykhaylo Mudryk is the biggest name that continues to be heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, with the Ukrainian star said to be valued at £100m by Shakhtar Donetsk at present. Whether the club chose to pay that fee remains to be seen.
