Heartbreak for Wales!
Iran have been by far the better side in this second half and they finally find a moment of quality.
With a man advantage, they have been pushing for a winner and Allen's clearance falls straight to Cheshmi, who takes a touch to get the ball out from his feet, and he strikes the ball past Ward and into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
The goalkeeper got a touch but he could not keep it out!

POST! Azmoun breaks forward for Iran and he fires a shot past Hennessey at his near post. Unluckily for the forward the ball thumps against the post and away from goal.
POST! The danger is not over, though, as Gholizadeh picks the ball back up and he curls a beautiful strike beyond Hennessey and against the upright AGAIN!
SAVE! This time the rebound falls to Azmoun but his header is smartly saved by Hennessey as Wales survive!

"Very tense - my fingernails are hanging off here.
"Good game for the neutrals, it's tight, it's tense and it's hot.
"Wales have to compose themselves. I think attacking wise, they're just too fast. You've got to have composure when you attack.
"An defensively, they look erratic - Rodon just got booked. Play as aa team, work together and make better decisions.
"A bit more composure and I think Wales will find the opening."

16: NO GOAL! A huge let off for Wales as the goal is ruled out for offside!
It's also a huge let off for Roberts as it was his woeful inside pass that allowed Iran the chance!
Iran just played one too many passes in the build up to Gholizadeh taking the shot. Azmoun, who played the pass, maybe should have taken on the shot himself.
