Sky Sports' Adam Williams:

"Luis Suarez once struck fear into every opposition and we all know that he is still dangerous.

"However, physically, he is not what he was. He is struggling for pace against the speedy South Koreans.

"You sense he is on the pitch to steal a goal in the box with his incredible instincts, but if he isn't delivering on that and not able to help his team press when off the ball, how long will it be before Uruguay take a different approach up top?

"The answer is now. Edinson Cavani is coming on!"

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

48: More excitement as Son looks to find some space down the left.

He throws in a few step overs as he looks to cause Uruguay problems, but as he was for most of the first half, he's well marshalled by Caceres, who makes a perfectly timed tackle.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

46: SECOND HALF! Uruguay get us back underway...

No changes from either side at the break!

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

HALF TIME! That's it for the first 45 minutes and it's been a decent watch despite no goals going in.

The closest we came to a goal was Godin's header, which hit the post, but South Korea have also had their moments in this game.

The best of which fell to Ui-Jo Hwang, who fired over from around 10 yards with the goal at his mercy.

Plenty for both sides to play for in the second half!

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

45+1: WIDE! A final chance of the half for Uruguay but Olivera can only steer his header wide of the far post.

45: There will be just ONE minute of added time. Yes, just ONE!

It's like the old days of football once again and probably the lowest amount of stoppage time we've had in this tournament so far!

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

44: POST! So close to the opening goal...

Godin rises highest and he powers a header down towards the bottom corner.

However, the ball thuds against the foot of the post and away from goal as South Korea survive.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

43: COUNTER! Pellistri gets forward down the right and his pass is so close to picking out Suarez, who would have had a shooting opportunity.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

39: OVER! In-Beom Hwang has a go from distance but he's never troubling Rochet from there.

The ball is always rising and it sails high over the crossbar.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

37: The pattern of this game has certainly been set. Without the ball, South Korea are disciplined and setting up with two banks of four as they look to frustrate Uruguay.

So far, it's working and apart from a couple of inch-perfect diagonal passes, Uruguay have found it difficult to break down South Korea, who have had some joy on the break too.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

34: BIG CHANCE! The best opportunity of the half for South Korea...

Moon-Hwan Kim fizzes the ball into the penalty area and into the path of Ui-jo Hwang, who, leaning back, plants his shot over the crossbar.

Uruguay breathe a huge sigh of relief!

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

Sky Sports' Adam Williams:

"Uruguay have been the team with the ball on the attack in recent minutes.

"South Korea have been happy to keep shape and not chase the ball. They know they have the pace to open up their South American opponents on the break.

"Son demonstrates the danger of South Korea as he tries to wriggle his way through, but then Uruguay are able to break.

"This is end-to-end stuff and a pleasure to watch."

28: CHANCE! It's Uruguay's turn to launch a counter-attack.

Olivera skips forward and eats up the ground as he takes the ball deep into South Korea territory.

They have an overload and you'd think a simple pass would release Nunez in on goal.

However, Olivera puts too much on the ball and it allows Seung-Gyu Kim to get off his line and make a crucial intervention.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

26: CLOSE! South Korea launch a counter and you can tell by the crowd who has the ball.

Son picks it up on the left flank and as he does regularly for Spurs, he cuts inside and skips past two challenges before bending the ball towards goal.

But Olivera is well placed to head clear for Uruguay.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

22: CHANCE! It's another exquisite pass from Gimenez to open up South Korea.

The sweeping diagonal ball picks out Pellistri, who crosses for Nunez on the penalty spot, but the Liverpool forward cannot get a significant touch to give Uruguay the lead.

In the end, it was good defending from Min-Jae Kim, who got a slight touch on Nunez to just put the striker off at the crucial moment.

20: OVER! That's a lovely pass from Gimenez, who clips the ball 50 yards into the path of Valverde.

The Real Madrid midfielder brings the ball down immediately before attempting to lift it over the goalkeeper and into the corner of the net.

However,  there's just not enough dip as it loops over the crossbar.

18: It's not necessarily his biggest strength but Nunez does really well to get back and block Moon-Hwan Kim's cross from the right.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

16: CLOSE! A switch of play releases Jin-Su Kim and the full-back does well to dig out a cross, which is tipped behind by goalkeeper Rochet.

However, the ball did just go out of play and eventually the referee awards Uruguay a goal kick.

They want a free kick and so do the players, but the referee waves away the appeals.

10: It's a race between Nunez and Moon-Hwan Kim, and it's Kim who wins as he clears the ball into touch to end a Uruguay counter.

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

Sky Sports' Adam Williams:

"South Korea have had 69 per cent possession so far and they seem to be the most dangerous side. South Korea's pace will cause Uruguay problems.

"This is a tight start between two great teams that could score.

"The roar when Heung-min Son has any involvement is something to behold."

28m ago14:08

Uruguay 0-0 South Korea

8: CORNER! Son takes it but in truth it is a poor cross as Uruguay get the ball clear.

You'd expect better delivery from Son there.
