Netherlands and Ecuador require a point in their final group games to be certain of a place in the last 16.
Group A is going down to the wire. Hosts Qatar are out, though. They become the first host nation to be knocked out after their opening two games

Estupinan is found in the box on the left and his fierce low drive is saved by Noppert, but the Netherlands goalkeeper can only push the ball out into the path of Valencia.
The former West Ham and Everton forward has a simple tap-in and it's a deserved equaliser for Ecuador. Game on!

HALF TIME! What an ending to the first half. Ecuador thought they were level but it's theNetherlands who remain in front thanks to Cody Gakpo's sixth-minute opener.

WHAT A STRIKE!
It's Gakpo again! Ecuador give the ball away just outside their box and Klaassen is there to intercept. He plays it to Gakpo and the young forward makes no mistake, firing a fantastic left-footed finish past Galindez at his near post.
Two goals in two games for the 23-year-old, who was linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer. His valuation may have increased a few million again after that.
