"Di Maria runs the ball back into the Saudi Arabia six-yard box to speed up a goal kick. Who would have thought it would come to this for Argentina?"

"You've got forwards from Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Juventus and Inter Milan currently on the pitch for Argentina against Saudi Arabia. And they are losing. I don't quite believe what I'm seeing."
Argentina 1-2 Saudi Arabia
69: More fantastic last-ditch defending by the Saudis, albeit at the expense of an Argentina corner, which is swung in from the left.
However, a near-post header flashes wide of the target.

"Look at the faces on the Argentina fans. Who is Salem Al-Dawsari? The way he plucks this ball out of the sky, chops inside and curls this right-foot shot high into the top corner.

Goal! Argentina 1-2 Saudi Arabia (Al-Dawsari, 53)
WHAT A GOAL!! The game has been turned on its head as Saudi Arabia score again and what a goal it is too!
Al-Shehr initially has a goalbound shot blocked in the box, before the ball falls to Al-Dawsari on the edge of the area, before the striker turns in a tight space and then curls an absolute beauty into the top righthand corner of the net, albeit with the aid of a slight deflection.
Incredible scenes at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.
Argentina 1-1 Saudi Arabia
Sky Sports' Ben Grounds:
"This is why we love football. This is why we love the World Cup. Hesitancy from Romero and Al-Shehri - who was suffering an injury in the build-up to the tournament - won't score a more important goal in his life."

Goal! Argentina 1-1 Saudi Arabia ( Al-Shehri, 48)
Wow, I did not see that coming as Saudia Arabia level matters!
Game on folks as the ball is slipped through to Al-Shehri in the box, but from a tight angle in the area, the forward finds the far corner of the net with a brilliant shot and that has come 2 mins and 41 seconds into the second half.
Al-Shehri was his nation's top scorer in qualifying with seven goals in 13 games, so he is the man in form!

Sky Sports' Ben Grounds:
"Lautaro Martinez brings out the best in Messi. In the past, he's had the likes of Tevez, Higuain, Saviola and Aguero who have all tried to be the main men.
"With Martinez, he has really looked to play to Messi's strengths in the time they have been together as we saw in the recent Copa America and Finalissima success.
"Ninety-two goals now for Messi, but Argentina have looked a bit sloppy since going ahead."
