Scott McTominay and Jadon Sancho dropped, Casemiro and Anthony Martial in, but still no Cristiano Ronaldo: Manchester United XI to bounce back at Everton

into gear in the Premier League this Sunday as they face Everton at Goodison Park.

Red Devils fans will likely be hoping for a shake up of the Red Devils starting XI, too, following the derby day humiliation at Man City.

Man United will be looking to carrying on their winning form after beating Omonia in the Europa League on Thursday

Man United had been in fine form before the Manchester derby, winning four games on the trot in the league – including against league leaders Arsenal.

But the Red Devils capitulated against their rivals Man City, going 4-0 down in the first half. Second half goals from Antony and substitute Anthony Martial made the scoreline flatter them, with 6-3 being the final score on a dramatic derby day.

And again, the Dutchman’s subs made all the difference.

It’s likely United fans will be hoping to see some of those players that came off the bench make it into the starting XI this Sunday when their side travel to face the Toffees at Goodison Park.

And Ten Hag may include some of the stars that got a rare start at Omonia, too, as they look to get the better of Frank Lampard’s side.

Erik ten Hag’s side got back to winning ways on Thursday night in the Europa League, securing a 3-2 victory after going 1-0 down to Cypriot side Omonia in the first half.

How Man United could shape up at Goodison Park

Although he failed to get on the scoresheet against City, it’s likely Marcus Rashford will be starting up front again given he scored twice in Cyprus on Thursday.

The Red Devils academy graduate made all the difference when he came on and equalised for his side before netting their third goal of the evening after Martial scored the second, making him the best option against the Toffees.

Club legend Cristiano Ronaldo had come in for the 24-year-old in mid-week, but the centre-forward was unable to score, missing a number of chances.
