Recently the Evening Standard reported that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Evan Ndicka in January, given the Gunners’ boss is keen on signing a new left-footed centre-back to create competition for Gabriel Magalhães.

Writing on CaughtOffside, Fabrizio Romano has now stated that it is highly likely that Ndicka could leave Deutsche Bank Park for free at the end of this season.

The journalist further claims that many clubs around Europe, including in England, are showing interest in signing the highly-rated defender in the upcoming transfer window so Arsenal will face competition.

Ndicka to Arsenal

When asked about Arsenal’s interest in Ndicka, Romano said:

“There are many, but really many clubs interested in Ndicka. I’m told there’s a very good chance for Ndicka to leave on a free, so many clubs – not just in England – are exploring the situation.”
