City allege that their team bus was hit by an object following their side's defeat

City's team bus was previously attacked by Liverpool fans back in 2018

That attack saw the bus pelted with bottles in build up to a Champions League tie

Manchester City alleged that their team bus was damaged by a missile on leaving Merseyside after Sunday's unsavoury defeat at Liverpool.

Players and staff heard a crack in the glass as the coach passed down Anfield Road following a day that saw Pep Guardiola claim he had coins thrown at him and away supporters were heard singing vile chants.

City are likely to raise their concerns surrounding the coach with the Football Association, who now have a list of incidents from Sunday to study.
