Manchester United vs Newcastle LIVE! Premier League team news, match updates

Man Utd 0-Newcastle 0 FT

 Newcastle

90+4: CHANCE!!! The header from Marcus Rashford is wide!! Incredibly. Eddie Howe has his hands on his head. Sancho lays it back for Casemiro to cross with the outside of his right boot but from six yards out, Rashford can't direct his header into the bottom corner...

He can't believe he's missed it!!

Half Time: Manchester United 0-0 Newcastle

Man Utd 0-0 Newcastle

Jamie O'Hara on Soccer Sunday:

"It's been a really good game. Newcastle grew into it and Man Utd started to drop off.

"Wilson was unlucky not to get a penalty, Joelinton's hit the bar and then the post.

"I've been impressed with Newcastle; they haven't come to sit back, they've gone after Man Utd and it's a really good 0-0."

Eddie Howe makes just the one change to the Newcastle side which beat Brentford 5-1 at St James' Park last weekend as Joelinton returns to the starting XI and Joe Willock drops down to the bench.

"Jonjo Shelvey is yet to make an appearance this season due to injury but the former Liverpool midfielder is back in the matchday squad and ready to play if called upon."

Erik ten Hag is without Christian Eriksen for today's game as the Dutchman makes four changes to the last Premier League match against Everton.

"Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho, Fred and Cristiano Ronaldo come in as Marcus Rashford, Victor Lindelof drop to the bench. Anthony Martial, who started that game at Goodison Park, joins Eriksen in being absent.
