Manchester United training squad vs Omonia Nicosia confirmed as five players missing

Man United trained on Wednesday at Carrington ahead of their Europa League match against Omonia on Thursday.

Anthony Martial did not train on Wednesday ahead of Manchester United's match against Omonia in the Europa League.

Martial sustained a hip injury in the pre-match warm-up at Goodison Park at the weekend he was forced to leave the pitch in the first half of that game. Martial will not be available for Omonia and a late decision will be made on his fitness for Newcastle.

"Not today [Martial training], we will see how it develops for Sunday," Ten Hag said at his press conference at Carrington on Wednesday. "Harry [Maguire] is out. And longer-term Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka."

Although Maguire is still sidelined with injury, the Manchester Evening Newsrevealed this week that the centre-back has been a dressing room presence United's last two Premier League games, by making visits despite his lack of fitness.

However, Maguire will not be available for Omonia and neither will Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who are dealing with 'longer-term' problems. Ten Hag is expected to name a strong side for Omonia, but youngsters could still be involved. Raphael Varane was not spotted in the open section of training in front of the media.
