Liverpool claimed their third Premier League win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Anfield
Mohamed Salah's sensational second-half goal sealed a 1-0 victory for Liverpool over Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Salah, fresh from his six-minute hat-trick against Rangers, scored the only goal of the game on 76 minutes. Alisson Becker in the Liverpool goal launched the ball forward and Salah spun Joao Cancelo with his first touch to go clean through. He then made no mistake, slotting the ball into the bottom left corner of the net.
The victory moves Liverpool up to eighth in the table, 14 points behind leaders Arsenal. The Reds now have a little over a month before they break up for the mid-season hiatus for the World Cup. Before then, Jurgen Klopp’s side have five Premier League fixtures to play where they will be looking to amass as many points as possible
