Liverpool 'there for' Nkunku
Liverpool are contemplating moving to sign RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku despite Chelsea having already agreed to pay the 24-year-old's release clause, according to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins
Nkunku signed a new deal recently but all that essentially meant was that he would stay in the Bundesliga for another 12 months before a €60m (£53m) release clause comes into effect in 2023.
Liverpool have been linked with Nkunku in the past and with Roberto Firmino out of contract at the end of the season, they might need another attacker in the near future.
Liverpool midfielder battle
Liverpool and Manchester City are both set to fight it out for Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes despite the Portugal international only having moved to Molineux in the summer.
The Sunday Mirror (via The Express) report that both clubs looked at Nunes in the transfer window but opted against making a move, with the 24-year-old then choosing to sign for
Wolves.
