United lost the first leg of this fixture 3-1 at Old Trafford back in May and will need a big performance to overturn that deficit. Proceeds from the last encounter raised more than £1.3m for the Manchester United Foundation which works to make the lives of young people in Manchester and the north west better.
Last time out, United were managed by iconic midfielder Bryan Robson. However, for the trip to Merseyside, ex-Reds striker Andy Ritchie has taken the hot seat and will be assisted by Andy Cole.
Dimitar Berbatov, who scored the Reds' only goal last time out, returns as does Antonio Valencia. There will also be several debutants for United, most notably Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick and it has today been revealed that Roy Keane will also play a part.
Liverpool are led by Kenny Dalglish, with Ian Rush and John Aldridge as his assistants. Notably Xabi Alonso, Glen Johnson and Robbie Keane will make their debuts for Liverpool Legends.

There was a passage of play a moment ago when Sissoko went in hard on Fletcher, who himself lunged in on Alonso to win the ball back. Pugh, who has already put Kvarme out the game, then flashed through Le Tallec, winning possession and dumping the Liverpool forward on his backside. Two for the price of one.
