Cristiano Ronaldo sends message to Manchester United fans

Manchester United’s match this coming Sunday against Leeds United has been called off.

But even with just one match to look forward to instead of one, Cristiano Ronaldo is remaining upbeat.

He sent a message out on Monday evening expressing positivity ahead of United’s one remaining fixture of the month.

Ronaldo could be back on the bench

Cristiano Ronaldo may be feeling positive, but his chances of getting minutes for Manchester United have reduced in the wake of the fixture cancellation.

Ronaldo started last week against Real Sociedad and disappointed in a 1-0 home defeat.

United do not have to rotate, and it is likely Erik ten Hag will pick his strongest possible side, which does not currently include Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has no goals or assists yet this season, and United have suffered defeat in the two matches he has started, with the team failing to score.

It’s likely he will see some action from the bench, and he will have to seize the minutes he gets. Portugal would love for him to arrive at the international break on a positive note.

After the loss to Sociedad, United need to get back to winning ways in Moldova, against a confident Sheriff team who beat Real Madrid 12 months ago.
