Manchester United stance on more signings after Antony and Martin Dubravka deals

 Man Utd are set to complete two more transfers but that could be the end of their business in this window.

Manchester United are unlikely to make any more signings in the final days of the transfer window once deals for Antony and Martin Dubravka are confirmed.

Antony is in Manchester to finalise his €100million move from Ajax and Dubravka

is to join on a season-long loan from Newcastle United, with an option to buy for £5million. Erik ten Hag has been pursuing a reunion with Antony all summer and the club have had to commit significant funds to land the 22-year-old, with Ajax playing hard ball after losing Lisandro Martinez to United for a fee that could reach £57million.

A breakthrough in negotiations arrived over the weekend and the Brazilian arrived in Manchester on Monday. He is now putting the finishing touches to a move, expected to sign a five-year contract with the option of an extra year

Ten Hag pushed the addition of a new goalkeeper up the list of priorities after David de Gea's difficulties in playing out from the back in the 4-0 defeat at Brentford. Those plans suffered a blow when Kevin Trapp decided to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt, with United switching their attentions to Dubravka, who had lost his place at Newcastle following the arrival of Nick Pope.

The 33-year-old Slovakian international will spend the campaign on loan at Old Trafford and will provide some competition to De Gea. He is likely to feature in the club's Europa League group games, which will all be played before November 3.

Those two additions will take United's total number of incomings to six in this window, following the signings of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Martinez and Casemiro.

Ten Hag had also wanted a right-back to challenge Diogo Dalot, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka not in his long-term plans, and potentially a striker. But United are now unlikely to make any more new signings in the final days of the window, which closes late on Thursday.

There is still uncertainty surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is of interest to Sporting and Napoli. Ten Hag couldn't rule out the possibility that the 37-year-old had played his final game for the club in the win against Southampton on Saturday.
