Arsenal 2-0 Everton highlights and reaction as Gabriel Jesus and Saka secure third pre-season win

Arsenal face Premier League rivals Everton in their latest pre-season fixture of the summer

Welcome to football.london's live coverage of Arsenal vs Everton at the M&T Bank Stadium in what is the first game of the Gunners' USA pre-season tour.

After beating League One side Ipswich Town 5-1 in a behind-closed-doors training match at London Colney a fortnight ago, the Gunners stepped up their preparations for the new season with a 5-3 win over FC Nurnberg last week as part of the club's training camp in Germany.

That was the first opportunity for supporters to catch a glimpse of Arsenal summer signings Gabriel Jesus, Matt Turner and Marquinhos in action, and the former certainly impressed by climbing off the bench to score a brace and also combine well with Eddie Nketiah in attack.

Fellow new boy Fabio Vieira is in line to make his debut on this tour, having travelled to the US alongside the likes of William Saliba, Aaron Ramsdale, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Granit Xhaka and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who reported for pre-season this week after being granted an extended holiday due to their involvement in international fixtures in June.

Once again, Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari, Nicolas Pepe, Reiss Nelson, Hector Bellerin and Ainsley Maitland-Niles - all linked with moves away this summer - have made the trip to the States, as has forgotten midfielder Lucas Torreira - and could feature against the Toffees.

For manager Mikel Arteta, this will be the latest chance to see which players, if any, can work their way into his first Premier League team of the season when Arsenal begin their 2022/2023 campaign against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in just under three weeks' time.

Arsenal writers Kaya Kaynak and Tashan Deniran-Alleyne will be keeping you updated with all the happenings from the game. Scroll down for all of our latest updates from the M&T Bank Stadium with the game due to kick-off at 12:00am UK Time
